The Director II is a key leadership position with a shared responsibility for the overall success of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities include: planning, organizing and directing facilities management functions of a multi-facility healthcare organization including, but not limited to alteration, operation, maintenance, replacement and disposal of physical plant structures, critical utility systems, and equipment; safety management functions including but not limited to fire prevention/protection; and efficient and effective delivery of facility maintenance services.

Requirements include:
* Bachelor degree from an accredited college in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or equivalent education/experience required; Master of Engineering, Healthcare or Business Administration preferred. * AHA Healthcare Facilities Manager Certification (CHFM) required.
Five to ten years of relevant experience in a dynamic and progressive healthcare organization required. * Progressively responsible experience in plant operations and engineering that includes management experience (minimum of five years required). * Successful experience in sustaining on-going compliance with all regulatory compliance agencies, including The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, etc. * Successful experience in developing high performance teams delivering the highest quality, customer-centered service. * Experience with process improvement, continuous improvement and/or Lean highly preferred.
