Job Description
General Summary
Direct the sales team to exceed minimum sales quotas and provide outstanding service in order to increase productivity
�
Primary Responsibilities
-Supervise Direct Sales Representatives and Sales Clerks in all phases of their jobs
-Provide ongoing coaching and development of personnel engaged in door-to-door sales transactions
-Provide motivational training and hands-on instruction
-Coach and develop employees to continuously improve team performance as measured in average per person per day productivity
-In field coaching according to current company standard
-Monitor the direct sales force in all areas of their daily assignments, i.e.: assignment of sales routes, sales route penetration
-Track and record daily production against established performance standards
-Prepare various sales reports and provide them to the designated party in a timely manner
-Collaborate with Human Resources in the recruitment, hiring and training of personnel
-Interface with other departments to provide seamless support to customers
-Communicate sales and marketing campaigns to personnel
-Communicate goals and objectives for staff
-Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
Requirements:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and apply new sales techniques
-Detail oriented with a background in problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task
-Ability to motivate, inspire teamwork and supervise employees of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and experience
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
-Proficient in multi-tasking, working under pressure and meeting deadlines
-Work on assigned projects with minimum supervision
-Knowledgeable of technical and customer service developments in the industry
-Proficient in Windows applications, typing and internet navigation skills

Education and Experience
-Bachelor�� s degree, preferred
-Three to five years sales or supervisory experience in a direct sales environment
-Previous sales experience
-Previous supervisor or management experience
-Previous development and coaching experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment
-Will work on computers while sitting at their desk for extended periods of time
-Work outside throughout the year in a variety of weather conditions, including temperature extremes.
