The Director, Brand Hospitality, Hampton is responsible for ensuring that Hamptonality (Hampton's unique form of hospitality) is infused throughout all training, tools and resources provided throughout the Hampton brand. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing Hampton brand strategies through Brand Education/Training workshops, recognition efforts, and all key tools and resources as well as measuring and validating the impact of brand education tools and resources. What will I be doing? The Director, Brand Hospitality, Hampton will be a liaison with other key departments, serving as Ambassador U lead and Hilton Worldwide University primary contact for Memphis programs & GM Leader. The Director will be the brand hospitality collaborative lead (will represent all Focused Service Category brands). The Director is the central coordination for the Hampton ecosystem. * Design strategy and direction for Hampton's Brand Compass * Identify and ensure achievement of brand training objectives through partnership with training department on content development & delivery, and coordination of subject-matter experts (SMEs) for general manager, sales / business development, and revenue maximization training * Execute the strategic planning and coordination of Hampton brand training (Regional workshops, Standout education, etc.) to advance company goals, while supporting communication plans of key messages to internal and external stakeholders * Develop plan to implement long term goals for the training department * Support brand needs and Hamptonality through identifying, designing, developing and delivering training activities to achieve brand and company goals * Implement direction by Hampton Senior Leadership Team to ensure the overall strategic direction of the training team is consistent with and supported by other key areas of the company * Identify and oversee resources and activities of training department, and collaborates with other departments as necessary * Ensure communication and training plan as established by department head is properly executed * Oversee and evaluate business processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within the department * Facilitate GM training and brand workshops * Direct the development and administration of Hampton brand training * Execute directives of organization's mission, goals and objectives and demonstrates through ongoing and direct motivation, communication, group dynamics and leadership * Conduct effective management of third party partners. Negotiates and monitors quality and cost of services * Manage effective partnerships with brand trainers and external vendors * Own and manage the training communications plan, and partners with the Centralized Services & Support team on content and delivery * Coach and provide feedback on performance and/or delivery of training to SMEs, brand training presenters and contractors/consultants * Obtain feedback based upon class observations, participant and brand feedback, and ongoing analysis of attainment of program training objectives * Translate organizational goals and objectives into performance standards for division, departments and individual positions * Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and takes corrective actions as necessary * Establish and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company * Review and make appropriate adjustments in activities and expenses throughout the fiscal year to ensure optimal financial results * Conduct need assessment from the data and trend analysis performed with the appropriate audience/brand * Partner with internal key stakeholders to provide specialized learning solutions to the brand's directives to include, but may not be limited to: Quality Assurance / Guest Assistance, Brand Performance Support / Advice, etc. * Partner strategically with external consultants to ensure knowledge of the most current industry-specific and global development delivery solutions * Partner with key contacts for large franchisees to establish open communication and feedback * Any and all other job duties as assigned Hilton World Wide Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
