Job Description
The CUSIP Directors primarily responsibilities is to control the proper management process within CUSIP Global Services (CGS) and to ensure that CGS global clients support and services are continually provided and maintained to the performance levels expected within CGS. This position is also responsible for client facing activities, such as representing. These activities will result in expanded markets globally, engaging customer feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction and improved NET Operating Income (NOI). Essential Accountability
Represent the company with clients, sales and marketing to resolve problems and direct customer billing and issuing issues.
Increase our existing business by business by building upon and improving client relationships through improvements in customer support and service processes.
Ensure client satisfaction through the coordination of the sales, marketing, finance, business units, management information systems (MIS), senior management and other resources of Standard and Poors, esp. as it relates to collection activities.
Overseeing all short term and long term projects and special assignments, as directed by SR. management, designed to enhance overarching CUSIP Global Services product line revenue.
Assist the scarce development resources to respond in a timely and profitable manner to requests for changes for CGS Support activities that customers, as well as the security industry requires.
Assist in collaboration within Standard and Poors through attendance at, industry association meetings and continual personal contact with regulators, financial institutions, vendors and any other clients that interface with supporting the business.
Manage and lead team through proven experience in database management and 'customizable' data sets and technologies, as it relates to our Support Activities.Other Required Accountabilities:
Enhancing the visibility of the company through participation in industry forums and seminars; educating the financial industry about current features and developments in the services we provide.
Monitor industry trends and use this information to determine future departmental actions .
Work with other product managers and operations managers to resolve system or process - related problems.
Leverage specific experience in managing reference and identification data.
Requires a minimum of 10 years experience in both the equity and fixed income services managing a large, sophisticated client base.
Must have an in depth knowledge of the Security Classification/CUSIP Global Services business with a strong understanding of securities and security processing.
Strong oral and written communication skills to facilitate interaction with a large variety of individuals - our clients, as well as intra-company individuals for special projects.
Superb analytical skills to supply sophisticated solutions to a variety of end-product applications.
Proven capability and credibility with internal sales, marketing, and business development staff members.
Possess outstanding problem solving, innovation, thought leadership and execution abilities.
Proven and respected staff leadership and credibility among subordinates, colleagues and senior managers.
Bachelor Degree required with a business related major preferred.
