Job Description

The Director of Client Service, Legal and Regulatory Services, will have primary responsibility for the development of new business opportunities within Legal and Compliance Departments at new and existing clients, and the management of client engagements and Consultants. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to partner with the recruiting team at a strategic and tactical level to leverage the available talent pool and determine ways to attract qualified consultant applicants to our team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your existing network and technical skills, tap into your creativity, and satisfy that entrepreneurial drive. This position will be located in Parsippany, NJ/New York, New York.

Responsibilities:

Continually develop new business by identifying and securing meetings with target clients, attending networking events, and making company presentations at events where appropriate.

Cultivate and expand existing business relationships through frequent communication and regular client visits in order to identify future project needs and ensure client expectations are met.

For new opportunities, identify business solutions, present qualified Consultants to clients, and negotiate billing arrangements.

Minimize Consultants' 'unassigned time' by managing roll-off dates and communicating regularly with Consultants regarding additional client needs and/or other appropriate engagements in the pipelines.

Work with the recruiting team to interview and assess skill set and competencies of legal and compliance candidates.

Ensure approved business contracts are executed by taking responsibility for the completion of all engagement paperwork.

Support team goals by participating in pipeline meetings (both with respect to client opportunities and bench strength), marketing meetings, and advancing creative ways to meet business challenges.

Represent Resources in appropriate professional and community organizations.Professional Qualifications:

Prior business development experience within professional services required, including an established professional network in the Tri-State area.

Proven track record of identifying client opportunities, and generating leads that resulted in revenue.

A genuine desire to partner with colleagues to achieve mutual success.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience.

JD and In-House Legal Department experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated track record of positive change in all positions held.

Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients' needs and issues.

Ability and desire to work within a team environment.

Ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients, Consultants and management.

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities/projects and proven ability to develop business relationships.
