Director of Engineering

Duties Include:

br * Coordinate and operate, in an economical, legal and
br safe manner, all H, L, P and Ramp;M for the hotel.
br
br * Inspect physical plant and equipment, and shall
br supervise maintenance and preventative maintenance
br program of that area.
br
br * Coordinate with other departments all work necessary
br to maintain general conditions, safety and health
br standards set forth by hotel policy and legal
br requirements.
br
br * Interview, hire, counsel, train, and discipline
br engineering associates, in coordination with the
br Director of Rooms Division and the Personnel Director.
br
br * Directly supervises Engineering associates in
br operation and control of utilities to provide efficient
br operation of hotel services and comfort to guests.
br
br * Recommend to management possible projects for future
br capital budgets. Obtain bids, supervise and coordinate
br contractors in performance of project work.
br
br * Maintain own and hotels special permits and licenses
br as required by local authorities.
br
br * Control schedules, staffing and payroll of H, L, P,
br Ramp;M. Compile personnel records, logs utilities and keep
br Engineering records.
