Director, Financial Reporting

Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Director of Financial Reporting will be directly responsible for managing the month end close and consolidation process and the preparation of the company's internal and external financial statements to ensure the integrity and accuracy of global US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Director of Financial Reporting will set standards of reporting on actual results to meet the needs of internal and external financial reporting requirements and identify and implement system, financial reporting and general process enhancements which ensure the consistent application of best practices across all locations.

Job Description



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Preparation/review of monthly/quarterly consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Comprehensive Income, Shareholders' Equity Statement and Statement of Cash Flows)

* Manage Bank Reporting Financial Statements and related process

* Manage HFM application and HFM administrators

* Manage HFM Global Chart of Accounts

* Manage monthly consolidation and elimination process

* Manage intercompany process

* Manage quarterly/annual global income tax journal entries

* Manage quarterly/annual disclosure and internal representation letter process

* Review and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual regional/country financial information to ensure compliance with Global Accounting Policies and GAAP

* Manage Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation Review process

* Prepare quarterly consolidated Balance Sheet and Income Statement Analytics (Business Performance Review key control)

* Assist in preparation of footnotes and related schedules for External filings

* Record IFRS journal entries



REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):



* BA/BS in Accounting or Finance with a solid understanding of GAAP

* 12+ years of relevant work experience, global public company and Big 4 experience strongly preferred

* CPA required

* Finance leadership experience, including the ability to manage a tea and foster and support an inclusive, team environment

* Knowledge of SEC, US GAAP and IFRS regulations

* Sarbanes-Oxley compliance experience

* Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees including senior management

* Change management including change agent who can drive a culture of continuous improvement

* Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/activities simultaneously
