We are currently seeking a Director of Infection Control.



Responsibilities:

-Working with the hospital epidemiologist in planning the overall development of the infection control program and in allocating resources among departmental operations
-Designing and coordinating educational programming
-Training of personnel
-Coordinating departmental research projects
-Coordinating outbreak investigations

Requirements:
Requirements:

-Master�� s degree in nursing, public health or related field
-Minimum of five years of epidemiological research experience and current activity in infection control in a complex healthcare organization, preferably an academic setting
-Minimum of two years experience in a management role within an infection control setting
-RN license
-Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
