Job Description

We are currently seeking a seasoned sales professional for the Director, Lead Development team, based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Director of Lead Development will manage and support the Lead Development Representatives within the North America Sales organization. The role will manage representatives through the lead development and qualification process which consists of both inbound inquiries and outbound tele-prospecting lead qualification activity. The Director will oversee the representatives to monitor lead queues, provide feedback on activity and performance as well as coach the team on call notes and activities. The Director will drive the representatives lead conversation rates and provide analytics on effectiveness and results. The Director will also align, communicate and work closely with the Business Development community and the Marketing & Sales Services team.

Additional responsibilities include:
* Serve as the Director of the Lead Development Representatives team of about 15. This also includes being the daily point of contact for prospect and Business Development partner escalation issues, one-off approvals, and other issues or concerns
* Actively coach for improved performance and skills development to achieve key performance indicators. Develop call guidelines and scripts. Motivate and coach the team to identify, qualify, and nurture the descriptive lead development process
* Document processes, work flows and data definitions for the support of mapping data and business processes. Analyze results and make specific recommendations for process and program improvement
* Lead training efforts on the system, processes, campaigns (objectives and strategy), products and solutions
* Audit the team's conversations and call notes to maximize and ensure quality. In turn, provide coaching, guidance, and insight to continuous improvement
* Work with critical stakeholders to ensure that qualified leads are being assigned correctly in the sales field organization. Ensure the team has appropriate visibility into the leads and followed-up by Business Development community within the enterprise CRM system (Salesforce.com)
* Serve as the Business Development community's point of contact for lead development activities. It is essential to build solid relationships with field sales and sales management
