Wyndham Vacation Ownership currently seeks a Director, Learning & Development for the Organizational Effectiveness group. This individual will be responsible for the delivery of development solutions, which includes the creation of curriculum and materials in a variety of modalities. She/He will will deploy resources to maximize learning and build the talent pipeline while ensuring the alignment of training curriculum to WVO's overall strategic direction.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Facilitation & Training: Serves as subject matter expert of learning curriculum; teaches content to associates at all levels to accelerate learning and enhance skills. Adjusts training style and methods as needed to meet the needs of learners. Facilitates discussions & meetings geared at helping the business achieve its objectives. Involved in participant selection process to ensure alignment of learning goals with target audience. Responsible for administrative aspects of training (space needs, contracts, etc.). Provides training solutions in a variety of modalities, including but not limited to instructor led courses and web based classes. -Strategic Partnership & Consulting: Aligns L&D team support to company's strategic vision by collaborating with business partners to identify training needs and competency gaps. Makes recommendations from existing offerings or works to provide customized solutions. Anticipates needs of the business and proposes solutions to support success. Broadly educates business partners on resources and tools which support associate growth and development. Proactively seeks out new vendors, programs, and products when applicable and provides recommendations on implementation. -Operational Excellence: Responsible for ensuring relevance, consistency and quality of curriculum and its delivery. Facilitates the ongoing enhancement of leadership competencies and readiness at all levels within WVO for both short and long term business needs. Supervises and provides guidance to Learning & Development Managers in creating and delivering programs that are aligned with core values and leader success profile. -Analytics: Develops and implements pre-program solutions to prepare participants and maximize the experience; provides post-program feedback and solutions to support application of learning.
