Job Description
Position Objective:
• Develop and optimize content for all AJE audiences (job seekers, employers, advertisers and influencers) of the America’s Job Exchange business to enhance and sustain product and brand awareness, maximize website traffic and membership, accelerate acquisition of new customers, and grow return transaction for up-sell/cross-sell.
• Design, develop and implement all relevant channels of content distribution such as the website (for top level content pages, landing pages, blog, articles, video and other), email programs (newsletters, offers, targeted triggers), Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube, Slideshare and other relevant), Collateral (product descriptions, brochures, whitepapers, presentations, video, slideshow)
• Hands-on management, guidance and coaching of a small team of in-house and freelance resources for the production of marketing materials including content, creative, video/audio/visual production, printing, as well as management of marketing tools and technologies such as CMS, eMail Marketing, Survey tools, and others that enable maximizing marketing output
• Measure effectiveness of marketing communications with appropriate metrics and make necessary adjustments to demonstrate continuous improvement. Work with business president to develop marketing plan and manage expenses to maximize ROI
Required Skills and Experience:
• Proven marketing expertise with deep understanding of and creativity in developing materials that excite and persuade target audiences, both consumer and business, to engage with the AJE on-line and off. Prior marketing experience in on-line consumer business is a solid plus
• Exceptional marketing communications, writing and presentation development skills to articulate message/content for use in the various marketing channels, and ability to directly manage small team of in-house and external resources
• Solid understanding of emerging marketing technologies and access to external resources or agencies who can drive programs cost effectively
• Entrepreneurial drive and desire to build an on-line business and a ‘make it happen’ attitude of accountability. A strategic thinker who is also able to work at the ground level with or without a large team of supporting actors
• Bachelors degree or higher
