This is a system-level position with pediatric marketing oversight over all HealthONE hospitals. This position is responsible for the design and implementation of a strategic marketing and communication plan in pediatrics including all matters related to our most advanced pediatric clinical care services. The Director of Marketing and Communications will create and direct marketing campaigns including social media campaigns and will strategically build strong long-term relationships within the community.
Directs marketing, communications, community relations, and public affairs efforts to enhance market position, organizational reputation, staff engagement and physician satisfaction at the facility.
Works closely with the HealthONE system Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Business Development, CEO, Executive Team, and Medical Staff Leadership, in setting communications objectives and establishing desirable relationships with strategic business and community partners.
Assists in the creation and implementation of all strategic development plans and promotional material related to the facility growth agenda.
Oversight of the annual marketing plan.
Monitors and manages website, social media and online reputation to elicit information critical to hospital s reputation, public affairs and community programs.
Directs a communications strategy that includes comprehensive internal communication plan.
Designs and implements community service programs for both internal and external stakeholders to meet ongoing community partnership objectives.
Monitors and evaluates program results and makes appropriate adjustments to current programs.
Establishes and directs a communications strategy, including a media relations program and internal communication plan to support positioning goals.
Establishes and directs communication plans for internal and external stakeholders, including dissemination of information on changing healthcare issues to include key constituents.
Collaborates with HealthONE facilities to ensure that activities support HealthONE s business and market objectives.

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None
B. Education: Bachelor degree required in business or healthcare related field; masters preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of marketing, media, business development/strategic planning/communications, and community relations experience required.
Background in marketing and communications positions with pediatric-related health care hospitals is required.
Ability to translate marketing and communications strategy into implementable tactics.
Understanding of market research and market analysis functions and relation to marketing and communication strategy and execution.
Demonstrated success in building an effective marketing, web, communications, and/or public affairs team.
Excellent writer, editor and oral presenter.

E. Degree of supervision required: Involves general guidance and direction by the VP of Marketing & VP of Business Development. Employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
