JOB DESCRIPTIONParsippany, NJ Medical Education and Communications Company currently has an exceptional opportunity in a key, highly visible position.
CPE Communications develops and coordinates non-accredited programs for healthcare professionals. We have an exceptional opportunity for an executive level new business professional with experience selling medical or promotional education programs.
Reporting directly to the Associate VP, you will have a major impact on the future growth of the company. You will have a direct role in the planning and implementation of business strategies, focusing on new business development and expansion initiatives.
In addition to sales and new business development, the successful candidate will provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the internal team regarding a broad spectrum of assignments. This includes developing strategic direction for medical education initiatives. The qualified candidate will have fiscal responsibility for assigned projects and will be required to ensure that projects are completed on budget. Strong leadership skills will be called upon to ensure that the highest quality standards are reflected in all deliverables.
Proven track record in new business development in the medical or promotional education or pharmaceutical arenas
Ability to negotiate services with decision makers at client and ensure that services can be rendered
Excellent presentation and selling skills to attain new or expanded business
Excellent financial management skills including budget tracking and project reconciliation
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
