JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Bright Horizons at Rockefeller Center is currently hiring a Director for their NAEYC Accredited Back Up program that has a capacity for 70 children. The center is open from 8am-6pm Monday through Friday and serves children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years old. It is located within Rockefeller Center between 48th and 51st Street and is just steps away from various attractions like Times Square, Top of the Rock, and the famous skating rink.
The Director will work closely with the Administrative team as well as the center teaching staff to ensure the implementation of a developmentally appropriate program that meets NAEYC Standards and Bright Horizons Family Solutions philosophy and guidelines.

MA in ECE with NY State N-6, B-2nd, 1-6 or Special Education certification is required
Exhibit extensive capabilities in both written and oral communication skills
Broad base of supervisory experience and demonstrated organizational skills
Ability to articulate extensive knowledge in, and the capacity to lead faculty in, implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum
Six to eight years experience with full time care preferred
Strenuous attention to detail, a spirit of teamwork, professionalism, and a sincere love of children
Demonstrated experience with financial management
History of positive parent relationships
Knowledge of NAEYC Accreditation Process
