Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Director of Nursing is responsible for the clinical management of the department, including, but not limited to effectively planning, directing and overseeing all patient care activity within the assigned areas (Infusion Therapy, Radiation Therapy, HCMG Medical Oncology and 5W inpatient unit) and assures that quality patient care is delivered consistent with the philosophy of Nursing Services at Holy Cross Hospital; establishes departmental policies with appropriate Medical Staff committees, ensuring that these policies are in accordance with all regulatory codes and laws; monitors and controls patient care activities through ongoing systematic review of practices, problem identification, implementation of appropriate interventions and evaluations; supervises personnel in a fair and consistent manner; prepares and implements departmental operational and capital budget; maintains all departmental statistics and submits reports on a monthly basis; and, assumes responsibility for insuring continuous professional growth and development in self and staff.

Job Requirements:
Education:

RN with Bachelors degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration required; Masters degree preferred
Experience & Skills:

Minimum of 5 years hospital administrative experience required
Licensure/Certification:

RN licensed by the State of Florida
Oncology Certified Nurse Credential required

Full Time-80 hrs Days Bachelor Degree Required Registered Nurse Licensure required
