We are seeking an experienced, Master s prepared Director of Patient Financial Services with a minimum of 8-10 years of business office leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting to join our team. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Patient Financial Services and Health Information Management, the Director has overall accountability for billing and collection operations. The position provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational goals and objectives and must be able to effectively coordinate and facilitate action steps needed to meet the strategic plan of the organization. The Director is actively involved in revenue cycle management as it extends throughout the institution. This position will be integral in the development of a new financial system, including migration to the new platform and training of all staff in the new processes. Policy and procedure development, staffing effectiveness, budgetary planning, staff professional growth and development and the performance management/evaluation process are all critical responsibilities. The successful candidate must have a proven ability to set priorities and make independent decisions of a complex nature, exceptional interpersonal and communications skill and a comprehensive knowledge of State/Federal regulations for billing compliance. Full-time 40 Hours Day shift
