Job Description

Position Responsibilities include:br* Provide input to product development teams on pricing & reimbursement implications for MedImmune moleculesbr* Assist Global Strategic Marketing in development of target product profiles (TPP) & disease area profilesbr* Contribute to the development of the integrated product development plan (iPDP) for all MedImmune molecules in development, beginning in Phase I & extending throughout commercialization across the portfolio. Inputs include coverage & reimbursement, pricing, value evidence, & government affairsbr* Evaluate environment/l&scape & design strategies to enhance technology adoption & coveragebr* Contribute to establishing & maintaining a Payer Expert Panel, health economists, clinical opinions leaders, patient groups & policy makersbr* Strong advocate for Payer needs - providing clear input, direction, & options to meet payer evidence needs (eg. realistic product differentiation or population segmentation) - for the PDT/HOPE so that the complete picture of benefit, value, risk, & uncertainty (BVRU) is available for effective decision makingbr* Active negotiation & trade-off between Payer, Regulatory, & Pricing strategies within the PDT & with other key stakeholders to achieve optimal product strategybr* Delivery of scientifically sound data & compelling evidence to achieve & maintain appropriate pricing & successful market accessbr* Ensure payer implications are understood & influence, as appropriate, ID evaluations by relevant governance bodies (in terms of assessing the GRD) as well as decisions on in-licensing opportunitiesbr* Ensure that the GRD meets the needs of the five key payer archetypes & invest-to-win markets (as appropriate)br* Provide strategic expert input to TPPs & to TPCsbr* Partner for the Global Marketing Director on PDT, to identify & capture key needs for payer insights at a strategic levelbr* Responsible for supervising work & activities of direct reportsbrbr~BSP
