Director, Process Unit Head

Novartis Pharmaceuticals has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Process Unit Head. The Process Unit Head has responsibility for all commercial manufacturing at the Technical Research Development (TRD) San Carlos site. The scope includes safety, quality assurance, quality control, compliance, staffing, training, budget, continuous improvement, resource planning & activities necessary to ensure timely release of product. PU Head is responsible for full compliance with all statutory, regulatory & Novartis requirements.

The PU Head will have responsibility for oversight of all staff directly involved in the commercial manufacturing process including technicians, engineers, quality assurance, program management. Serve as a member of the site leadership team (SLT), lead by the TRD Site Head. The PU Head will partner with San Carlos site leadership on resources & services to meet service levels. Ensure timely & successful commercial manufacturing to meet key business objectives.
