Excellent opportunity for a capable Director to take over Global Reliability for all New Product Introductions. You will work on a wide variety cutting-edge products & technologies for top-tier customers in the medical, mobility and automotive market segments. Your work in this role will have a high degree of impact on the success of the overall organization. Responsibilities include:
30% planning the reliability qualifications, 30% communicating results to stakeholders, 30% problem resolution, 10% long-range strategic planning around resources and capital equipment
Interfacing with Design & Test Engineering, Technology Research & Development, Process and Package Reliability teams, Failure Analysis and Business Units for qualification results and issues
Providing technical guidance and coaching to a team of 8 Reliability engineers
Helping to drive a zero-defect culture within the broader organization, sharing best practices across teams
Managing all performance metrics to meet or exceed customer expectations
Interface with customers, when needed, especially with Automotive customers
8+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, in-depth understanding of semiconductor physics
5+ years of experience as a senior/lead Reliability engineer or equivalent
Proven track record of leading and developing a team that collaborates between engineering and product groups
Very strong ability to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task, prioritize numerous competing demands and problem solve decisively
Ability to provide strategic recommendations into planning based on upcoming company technology roadmaps, to insure qualification readiness in terms of both staff resourcing and capital equipment
Experienced dealing with failures (Burn-In, ESD and Latch-Up) during qualification and providing rapid resolution to issues
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent required
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent preferred
