* Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the Central Region full cycle talent acquisition function\. The Talent Acquisition Director will develop and implement the hiring strategy, with a focus on building pipelines of specialized, clearable technical talent to support our Engineering programs across several domains \(Cyber, Space, Missile Defense & Land and Avionics C4ISR\)\. This position may be located in Rolling Meadows, IL, Boulder, CO, Colorado Springs, CO, or Huntsville, AL\.In this role, you will have the opportunity to inherit a strong recruiting team and continue to develop a best\-in\-class recruiting capability for Northrop Grumman\. As we build a next generation Talent Acquisition organization, you will play a pivotal role in our recruiting strategy, technology optimization, recruiting marketing and interface with senior leaders and HR Business Partners\.To be a great candidate for this role you must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline\. Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to anticipate future talent needs, set benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer requirements\. The best candidates will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and the ability to network with all functional areas of the business to understand current and future staffing requirements\.Key Responsibilities:
Partner with MS Sector TA Director, business leaders, and the talent acquisition and HR business partner teams to drive strategic sourcing, recruiting and hiring strategy\. Oversee a team of recruiters who are matrixed to the business lines\. Build talent acquisition performance management system focused on operational excellence, hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience\. Assess talent acquisition talent; strengthen team as necessary - with a focus on development and engagement\. Partner with HR and organizational effectiveness teams to develop and implement an integrated talent development and succession strategy, including diversity strategy\. Implement workforce planning in partnership with the operating units to understand short and long\-term talent needs\. Consider innovative and cost\-effective talent acquisition strategies\. Build productive partnerships with the business and Human Resources\.The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

- Bachelor's degree and at 15 years of relevant experience in HR and talent acquisition\. Four additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree\.- The candidate must have proven success with partnering with top leaders, leading change initiatives, and managing talent acquisition for organizations with a high\-tech workforce\.- The individual selected will also have a proven track record as a trusted advisor and partner with business leadership, along with demonstrated project management, analytical and process orientation skills\.- 5 years supervisory experience\.- Ability to obtain a Top Secret \(TS\) clearance\.- 25 \- 40 % travel required\.Preferred Qualifications:
- Global talent acquisition experience; experience with talent acquisition in international locations and/or medium to large Federal contracting companies\.- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field\.- Certifications relevant to Human Resources\.Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
