Responsible and accountable for managing the day to day operations of the Women s & Children s Unit including Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery and the Nursery. Utilizes effective strategies in developing, supervising and evaluating work processes, resource consumption and outcomes. The Nurse Director plays a major role in the development of personnel, compliance with regulatory and professional standards, and fosters collaborative relationships with the clinical and practice managers, providers and with community-based healthcare partners.




Minimum Education


Graduate of approved school of nursing with BSN degree; MSN preferred with Leadership/Management Track.



Minimum Work Experience


Five years experience required in acute Womens & Childrens care nursing.
Leadership experience required.



Required Licenses/Certifications


Licensed in the State of Vermont.
