Job Description

West Divison/Houston Region WarehouseResponsible for overseeing all supply chain operations including Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and materials planning, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control. Coordinates and maintains all operations within designated warehouses. Monitors materials usage, CPE stock levels, and overall inventory accuracy. Develops strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations including inventory management, staging and material handling processes, quality, and logistics. Develops operating guidelines, policies, and procedures for inventory and warehousing. Manages additional projects as assigned. Maintains key financial and operational metrics and recommends opportunities for improvement. Provides superior customer service to internal customers (Tech Ops, Construction, Business Services, etc.)Core Responsibilities: - Oversees all Warehouse functions and monitors materials usage to assure material versus installation yield.- Ensures location Managers are working with Buyer/Planner on purchase of tools and inventory to maintain Min/Max levels in all locations. Monitors CPE stock levels, and ensures compliance with division and national policies and procedures, including required reporting.- Monitors overall inventory accuracy for all locations and develops action plans with direct reports to resolve issues and improve processes. Ensures that inventory controls are in place at all locations.- Works with Warehouse Manager(s) and/or Supervisors to coordinate inventory storage, turnover, and receipt/shipment of materials.- Interfaces with internal customers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure approved material is available to distribution channels. Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with internal customers.- Maintains inventory files and reviews items for physical movement. Ensures excess materials are disposed of in accordance with company directives.- Oversees the conducting and documentation of monthly safety training classes for all assigned employees within all warehouse locations. Creates and implements safety and health programs to assure safe and healthy working conditions and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.- Tracks and documents New Hire training program within the warehouse to ensure all employees receive the proper training.- Manages employee relations, counseling, and training. Develops Managers and Supervisors for future growth. Monitors Managers and Supervisor productivity and assigns tasks and projects.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Required Skills: Education Level: - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience Years Experience: - Generally requires 10+ years related experience
