The Director of Access & Intake is a management and administration position within the managed care intake program. It contributes to the accomplishment of the Agency's mission though management of the Agency's intake, referral, utilization management, and utilization review functions. The Director of Access & Intake will develop and implement systems to ensure accurate and appropriate referral to Agency programming and ensure staff is trained and effectively processing referrals. Additionally, the Director will monitor and track data to determine referral trends and appropriately measure lead indicators and access outcomes.

The Director will also establish performance standards for access and reception staff around key customer service results to ensure that the Agency maintains welcoming and engaging access and reception areas. The Director will provide staff with a vision of change and process to achieve it in order to build and monitor community responsiveness to the identified access needs as well as establish collaborative outcomes with local partners to ensure optimum knowledge and use of agency access resources.



Master's of Social Work or related field degreerequired with clinical licensure.

Minimum of 5years of experience working in a social services setting and exposure to clinical interventions required.

5years of experience working in a collaborative environment with multiple clients/partners required.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, E-mail and Internet required.

Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings but is not a primarily and essential job responsibility.

All candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check, child protective services and sex offender check and must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
