The Director is responsible for leading the Activation and Partnership team in bringing marketing concepts to life leading the flawless execution of sold integrated, multi-platform marketing programs and working with the sales team to renew the business.
Essential Job Functions
Effectively manage the department to ensure programs are transitioned from pre-sale to post-sale stage, resulting in consistently exceeding client expectations throughout the process.
Work directly with clients and internal departments to execute integrated marketing programs across Meredith s asset groups (Print, Digital, Video, Social Media, Database, etc.) including serving as single point on client contact, meeting due dates, delivering on key performance indicators, staying within budget parameters and providing recap reports/recommendations. Work with sales team to pitch renewal business
Manage the creative process to develop compelling and breakthrough communications, including print advertorials and online media units, in conjunction with the Art Department that are on strategy and grounded in the client s objectives
Identify strategic marketing partnership opportunities that complement Meredith assets and expand client offerings
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Bachelor s Degree
Minimum 5-7 years marketing experience, preferably in the media industry in integrated programs
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Candidate must be highly organized, proactive, detail- and solution-oriented, and must excel at multi-tasking
- Candidate must be a strategic thinker with project management and problem-solving skills
- Must be a clear communicator who is comfortable talking with senior-level clients on a daily basis
- Copywriting skills a must.
