POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Director of Brand Management will serve as the primary business driver for the brand in North America, liaising between internal and external business partners and serving as the lead to develop a brand launch strategy for North America.

The individual in this role sets the overall brand strategy and manages his/her team to perform day to day business management, including execution of marketing/merchandising plans and using analytics to meet and exceed the department's financial objectives.

Primary responsibilities are to oversee Brand Strategy & Management, Sales/inventory (e.g. support launches in terms of inventory planning forecasts), Marketing and Merchandising for his/her designated brand.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

A four-yeardegree (MBA strongly preferred) and 10+ years' progressive marketing or brand management experience, including within beauty, is a must. Five or more years' managing and mentoring a team(s) is also required. Highly qualified candidates will be effective relationship builders with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Must have strong analytical and demonstrated strategic planning skills and remain calm & poised when presenting to executives and notable individuals.
