JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Description:
Responsible for driving profitable growth and expansion
of market share for the hospital by coordinating
functions associated with growth, including: strategic
planning, program and service development, preparation
of business plan, overseeing physician relations and
marketing staff. The individual in this role is
accountable for ensuring that strategic priorities,
growth initiatives are effectively implemented and for
monitoring/measuring results. The position will require
extensive physician relationships building skills.
Candidate will need to use independent judgment while
working independently with minimal supervision to
perform complex duties of Business Development role.
A. Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of
previous marketing management (Liaison or Provider
Relations) experience within a hospital or healthcare
organization. Prior experience in strategic planning
including design, research and implementing new
programs. Familiarity of the healthcare market
surrounding the hospital and good understanding of
finance is required.
B. Education: Minimum of bachelor s degree in Marketing,
Communications, Public Relations, or Business
Administration or related field. Masters degree
C. License, Certification, or Registration required: NA
D. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and
interpret general business periodicals, professional
journals, technical procedures or governmental
regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups
of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
E. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with
mathematical concepts such as probability and
statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and
solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply
concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and
proportions to practical situations. Proficient in the
use of personal computer
F. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical
problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to
work cross functionally with all levels to perform job
