JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and coordination of post-acute nursing educational programs for six + post-acute facilities and growing comapny. Current programs include: orientation, RN Residency, clinical competencies, certification prep wound course, annual retreat, bi-annual award and recognition celebration. Ongoing development of staff nurses and managers.leaders includes: clinical ladder, preceptor and national certification recognition programs.
Reports to the Chief Nurse Executive at Meridian Quality Care.
Position requires driving from facility to facility (mostly Monmouth and Ocean counties) and some flexibility due to nursing shifts
Master's Degree in Nursing Education or Adult and/or Gerontological Nursing
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and motivational leadership skills
