Director of Engineering
Oversee Systems Integration tasks supporting the definition, development, design, integration, documentation, testing, and certification. Tasks include generating and documenting design requirements.
Investigate operational concepts, develop requirements, and translate requirements into systemarchitecture on current and future platforms
Analyze system performance requirements and allocate derived requirements to lower level subsystems.
Assist with analyses to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
Develop and maintain subsystem specifications, analyses, test validation plans, and test verification plans.
Participate in defining verification and validation testing of EV systems and subsystems.
Provide engineering support for products during integration into other systems.
Bachelor's Degree (Advanced Degreepreferred) from an accredited University in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related degree with heavy emphasis in Systems Engineering.
10+ years of experience in multiple engineering projects including research and development efforts of System Integration (EV, HEV, Powertrain, etc.). Oversee Verification & Validation testing, sustaining engineer, and systems engineering aspects of the projects' life-cycle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred vehicle experience or related EV systems experience.
Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Good listening, questioning, clarifying and summarizing skills to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
Ability to meet engineering schedule demands in a dynamic environment with multiple customers (strong project and time management skills).
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Project Management software, and issue tracking, requirements management systems.
