The aerospace and defense business unit is a contract manufacturer and integrator of electro-mechanical assemblies. CND has a work force of over 150 skilled employees. With locations in Stillwell and Pryor, OK, the core business is comprised of distribution, kitting and manufacturing of:

Cable assemblies and wire harness assemblies
Interconnect solutions
Electronic racks
Electric panels and enclosures
Power distribution
Metal fabrication
“Build to Print” products
Drawing on its in-house capabilities and a select group of pre-qualified subcontractors, CND group has a rich history of supplying products to the commercial, defense aerospace industries. CND is ISO9000:2000 and AS 9100 certified. Past performance has included prime and subcontracting manufacturing for the Department of Defense, Boeing, L-3, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin and others. Ensures processes are constructed to produce defect-free assemblies. Produces Bills of Materials. Ensures that inspection documents are clear and concise. Oversees engineering and planning function

Oversees day-to-day engineering operations for assigned geographic locations. Provides leadership to assigned teams and supervises task delivery. Partners with support functions to help ensure optimal quality and on-time delivery to meet customer needs. Provides operational reports regularly and as requested.


Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):

Develops strategic plans and establishes and monitors long-term goals
Oversees MPI and BOM construction
Reviews contracts and develops inspection procedures
Responsible for BOM quotes, first article builds, labels, and build board drawings
Oversees BOM review, production tooling, and CAD drawings
Responsible for ECR construction, review, and submittal
Develops packaging instructions as needed
Interfaces with Training Department to assess and improve competency levels of assigned personnel
Performs cost analysis, develops and monitors business forecasts and implements action plans designed to meet forecast levels
Generates and/or presents reports weekly, monthly, and as otherwise necessary to review key measurements and performance levels
Performs root cause analysis and strives for continuous improvement within assigned teams

Develops and monitors business forecasts and implements action plans designed to meet forecast levels
Responsible for communicating and providing information for customers and vendors as necessary—may include travel
Develops and utilizes various operations reports as necessary; Develops, manages, and maintains budget
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships
Helps determine operations headcount needs
Addresses customer changes as necessary
Issues documents to floor

Oversees assigned teams and supervises task delivery. Sets goals and decides areas of responsibility. Assigns and directs work. Corrects and disciplines. Recommends salary increase and formally reviews performance. May recommend promotions and discharges; may interview and select employees; may set or recommend new employees’ rates of pay and hours of work. May train employees. Determines the means, methods and materials for performing work. Plans the work operation and may handle employee relations when necessary


Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of related experience. At least 5 years in a managerial role. Master’s Degree preferred.


Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Database software, word processing software, design software, Internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software, spreadsheet software. Interpersonal skills; telephone skills; patience; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organization skills; accuracy; time management; must be able to perform inspection of products and must know the of status of all production jobs
