As a key business partner, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading the company's strategic human resources efforts as well as oversee policy, programs and initiatives that drive people to achieve functional excellence and overall business objectives. The successful candidate will coach effective leadership techniques, model open and cyclical communication across all levels of the organization and drive a company culture that emphasizes precision quality, continuous improvement, and high performance. Lead functional disciplines of employee relations, benefit administration, compensation strategy, workforce planning, recruitment, training and development, performance management, policy development, safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required with advance degree preferred
Human Resource certification: PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SCP
7+ years of progressive human resources experience with a proven track record of continuous learning
PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING IN MANUFACTURING STRONGLY PREFERRED
Formal Lean/Process Improvement and OSHA training preferred including proven approach to problem solving and ability to coach effective approaches to meet business objectives
