We are working with a profitable mid-size software company based in the Lexington, MA area to fill a newly created role of Director of Marketing. In this highly visible role, you will work closely with the company's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and other members of the Executive team on both the strategic direction and execution of the company's demand generation goals. The Director, Marketing will play a critical role in shaping and measuring the success of Go To Market (GTM) strategies. The Director, Marketing Analytics will lead cross-functional efforts to define and implement analytics frameworks. A few primary responsibilities include:


Create and manage dashboards on web traffic, lead generation, lead status, opportunity flow, etc.

Analyze ongoing GTM strategy and program execution

Assess targeted content success in generating high-quality leads

Establish ROI assessment of annual and quarterly Marketing budget

Collaborate with CMO and Exec team on Marketing strategies and plans

Competitive benchmarking


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-impact results on-time and on-budget, with the ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment. Must also have a strong strategic planning, influence and negotiation skills. Key hiring criteria include:


BA/BSdegree; MBA nice to have

7-10years' plus experience in B2B business analysis, with focus on marketing/sales/digital lead generation

* Working knowledge of Marketo/Pardot and Salesforce integration
* Experience analyzing and/or managing PPC campaigns


Ability to translate data into results-driven recommendations

Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Strong working knowledge of B2B software lead generation process

Works effectively and collaboratively with senior leadership

Curiosity and critical thinking

Ability to generate, defend and challenge unconventional viewpoints
