JOB DESCRIPTION

The Media Director will work both independently and in collaboration to build the organization's infrastrucutre and teams to drive programmatic revenues from agencies, platforms and brands. In addition, the Director will collaborate on continued development of programmatic sales strategies, collateral development, pricing, and positioning.

The ideal candidate will be a domain expert, with a deep knowledge of the ad tech and programmatic ecosystem.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Sell programmatic and audience offerings to holding companies, agencies, trading desks, DSPs, and brands
* Evaluate potential new data and technology partners that will lead growth in programmatic revenue
* Lead internal programmatic technology teams to thoroughly understand/represent capabilities, develop new ones, and help operationalize audience based buying strategies
* Prospect, present, negotiate, close and assist on execution of, programmatic sales programs
* Exceed established sales revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
* Oversee the recruitment, training, management and motivation of all sales personnel
* Educate and train teams on all things programmatic
* Leverage TSM's 1st party data and DMP solutions to drive programmatic direct and indirect revenues
* Source additional indirect programmatic revenues
* Provide actionable feedback from the market and our customers, and insights regarding competition and industry changes, to influence continued development of sales and product/solutions strategies
* Assist in the development of sales collateral and positioning
* Act as the voice and face of our programmatic initiatives in the market and industry communities

REQUIREMENTS:

* 5-7 years of experience in digital media sales organizations selling brand advertising campaigns
* 2-3 years of experience selling programmatic advertising to brands, agencies and trading desks
* Strong set of existing relationships with large media companies, brands and agencies at all levels
* Experience with regional and smaller, niche programmatic buying groups is preferred
* Demonstrable success in market development, programmatic sales, and exceeding revenue goals
* Proven track record of building relationships in the media/advertising industry
* Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising technology ecosystem
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent
* High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
* Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
* Proactive self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
