Primary Responsibilities:


* Responsible for developing and implementing the pricing structure and strategy required in collaboration with your suppliers to achieve the sales budgets and goals.
* Coordinate the annual sales focus calendar and develop incentive and pay for performance compensation to drive sales achievement in accordance with company policies.
* Coordinating sales performance, brand building programs and supplier relationships across all channels of the trade
* Assist with product forecasting by providing input on sales trend variances to allow for inventory modification.
* Accountable for attainment of annual volume, gross profit and safety goals for assigned branch.
* Accountable for performance of all sales, distribution, ad and display goals in assigned chains.
* Ensure supplier satisfaction by achieving mutually agreed upon annual business plan volume and distribution objectives
* Survey the marketplace with your assigned Sales Team, Management and Suppliers as outlined within the Market Vision Performance guideline (MVP) as required by Senior Management; identify and communicate opportunities seen within the market to Senior Management and proactively suggest recommendations to remedy.
* Perform Market Vision Performance (MVP) surveys as frequently as required by Senior Management.
* Manage all departmental expense and sales line to budget or below.
* Partner with Senior Management to ensure effective and efficient day to day operations; perform regular evaluations of sales department call frequency and service levels, out of sequence patterns and customer returns to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs.
* Schedule, organize and lead all regional sales meetings as required.
* Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate department staff.
* Enforce all liquor laws according to state law and regulations regarding product sales.
* Represent the company at various business and community functions in a positive light.
* Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.
* Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times.





Preferred Qualifications:

Education/Training:


* Bachelor's or advanced degree
* High School diploma or GED required

Licenses/Certifications:


* Valid driver's license and auto insurance required

Experience:


* Minimum of five (5) years previous beverage industry sales experience
* Minimum of three (3) years previous sales management experience

Knowledge/Skill:


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
* Experience with an AS400 system
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
* Knowledge of budgetary processes and influence on business objectives
* Ability to build presentations and develop business reviews utilizing standard computer software programs
* Demonstrate flexibility in overcoming problems and personalities
* Demonstrate leadership and team building skills
* Ability to focus and work cross functionally across many levels of organization
* Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Physical Requirements:


* Lift/Carry and Push/Pull up to 50 lbs.
* Bend/Stoop/Crouch/Squat
* Use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
* Use of industry tools: hand truck, six wheeler, manual pallet jack, box cutter
* Ability to travel throughout the day for visits to customer accounts
* Work indoors with frequently walking in customer accounts
