Directorial Role in National Account Management within the Logistics Industry

The DIRECTOR OF SALES will maintain relationships with customers. As a result, will be responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned account objectives, gaining new business in existing accounts as well as new account. Also, will represent the entire range of company products and service as well as lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure customers' needs and expectations are met.


* Maintains a thorough ongoing knowledge of the company's products and technology, including industry trends
* Account Reconciliation with the CFO and Controller
* Develops accurate and timely forecasts for assigned accounts, revising as necessary
* Schedules regular, in-person interaction with customer with customers, reporting monthly activity metrics to reflect pipeline, forecast and current status of accounts
* Understands key customer's environment and priorities, building value propositions to drive growth
* Negotiates favorable multi-year supply agreements including pricing adjustments, payment terms, legal limits, liabilities and warranties
* Making decisions that aligns with the company's core values and vision, taking appropriate risks, exercising sound judgment, respecting relative importance, priorities, resource requirements and time allocation
* Leading a joint company strategic account planning process, developing performance objectives, financial targets and milestones for short and long term periods


* Bachelor's DegreeRequired
* Senior Level background is a MUST
* 10years' experience in sales, account management or any relation
* Experience in the 3PL, warehousing and logistics industries
* Demonstrated track record of successful account management, proven ability to establish high dollar value transactions and see them through an entire relationship management process from business development, value proposition, to close and maintenance
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Engineering/Operations experience a plus
* Strong writing, interpersonal and presentation skills
