JOB DESCRIPTIONSeeking individual with extensive rolodex of industry contacts within major ENR organizations and EPC contractors able to continuously and actively call on representatives from producers and contractors to identify current or up-and-coming projects and develop lasting profitable relationships.
*** Build relationships with producers and identify future projects for both new airports, parcel facilities, warehouses, distribution centers, etc.
*** Determine contractors and engineering companies that producer intends to work with to design and build automated warehouses, postal facilities, airports, etc.
*** Meet with representatives from Engineering Firms and Contractors and demonstrate ways to add value to their product through presentations regarding material handling equipment and comparison to competitor systems.
*** Provide strategic input to proposals for specific prospects as they are identified and selected.
*** Develop 'win-strategies' based on competitive pricing, technical accuracy, and ability to meet customer, engineering, contractor and producer requirements according to plans, blueprints, drawings, and objectives.
*** Knowledge of major Engineering Firms, Logistics Organization, Construction Contractors and a large network of industry contacts in a well rounded rolodex.
*** Proven track record of winning major work for high-dollar-value baggage handling, warehouse automation and parcel post projects
*** Strong sales traits, including tenacity, competitiveness, persuasiveness and overall people skills.
*** Proven success leading a team of 5+ salespeople in multi-million dollar proposals.
