JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY New Jersey based manufacturer is looking for a dynamic sales leader to fill their Director of North American Sales Manager position.

Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume
Maintain national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Supervise national sales staff by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising performance.
Implement sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Report to Vice President
Travel occasionally to support sales staff, manage trade shows, etc. (less than 25%)
Contribute to team effort as needed.
Strong track record of success in sales management - minimum 3years
Experienced in managing a remote sales staff
Experienced in managing a professional and experienced sales force
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical skills / 'good with numbers'
Enthusiastic and positive outlook
Strong SalesForce.com background (this is highly valued)
Understanding of manufacturing in general.
