Our client, a growing pharmaceutical company, is seeking a SALES OPERATIONS DIRECTOR. This individual will be responsible for providing the management, the oversight and the optimization of programs in relation to the company's commercial efforts in the areas of sales territory alignments, field communications, sales effectiveness and incentive compensation.

DIRECTOR OF SALES OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Leading the efforts to update territory alignment utilizing a vendor or mapping software
* Working with senior leadership to execute series of dashboards to effectively manage the business
* Ongoing management and continued evolution of our CRM; Ensuring input to the vendor and taking advantage of new functionality for competitive advantage
* Partnering with team members to provide incentive compensation plan design and administration is both motiving for the sales force and aligns with the business goals
* Creating and maintaining an effective field communication program with sales management and representatives to ensure company strategy is executed
* Establishing collaborative working relationships with Finance to optimize the financial management of key functional areas
* Providing leadership and oversight of the company's sample management, PDMA Compliance knowledge
* Contributing to the change management, communications, and training of key tools for sales force
* Supporting of sales force reporting

DIR SALES OPS QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred
* At least 8 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Sales Operations role with at least 3 years of leadership experience
* Prior experience successfully realigning territories utilizing software systems and creating dashboards which yield effective data
* Prior experience in participating in the planning and the administration of incentive compensation
* Prior success with developing field communication programs
* Pharmaceutical Sales Operations management experience
* Working knowledge of pharmaceutical sales data sources
* Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience hiring, developing and leading a team
