This beautiful luxury 4 Diamond hotel is seeking a successful candidate with a proven track record To manage and drive the total sales efforts of the hotel including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, management of sales team, implementation of sales and marketing strategies so as to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction. Meet with and maintain rapport with individuals and contacts in order to produce groups and/or convention business to include room sales, F&B sales and Catering/Banquets. Responsible for hiring, training, counseling, motivating, terminating, developing and evaluating the sales/catering team. Develops and maintains departmental annual budget. Ensures sales activities meet or surpass profit plan. Maintains/develops good rapport with area chamber of commerce, local groups and companies.Create new ways of presenting information that will attract peoples' attention. Active member of the Executive Team. Ensure all procedures are followed and all audit requirements are met by entire sales/catering team. Assist the GM in the creation of the hotel business and marketing plans.Be familiar with all fire, health and safety procedures and train staff accordingly. Ensure on going measures are taken to deliver and maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.
