JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY DISTINGUISHED ASSOCIATE/FULL PROFESSOR, MILLER COLLEGE OF BUSINESS
The Miller College of Business is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with specialty in entrepreneurship, available August, 2016.
Major responsibilities: The selected candidate will develop and implement a research agenda that will garner national recognition through published scholarship in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems; play a leadership role in free enterprise-related research in the Department of Management; develop and deliver a curriculum in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial ecosystems at the graduate and undergraduate levels; initiate and collaborate on external grant writing; participate in John H. Schnatter Institute for Entrepreneurship and Free Enterprise activities and initiatives; actively contribute professional service to the Department of Management, the Miller College of Business, Ball State University, the profession, the Muncie community, and the State of Indiana.
Develop and deliver curriculum in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship ecosystems; teach up to 9 semester hours of management courses per semester; teaching load is dependent on performance. Teaching assignments may include undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship or related management courses, including teaching on-line.
Minimum qualifications: PhD in Entrepreneurship or closely-related field from an accredited college or university; evidence of scholarly research; teaching experience in entrepreneurship or free enterprise.
Preferred qualifications: Full time teaching experience in entrepreneurship or free enterprise at the university level, including teaching with new technologies; demonstrated record of excellence in research, evidenced by high-quality publications in area related to entrepreneurship or free enterprise.
