Sodexo is seeking a District Manager 2 to oversee IFM services operations for the client portfolio of up to 15 Senior Living accounts in the East/SE Region through MD and Chicago. This position must reside in or near the MD area due to concentration of business. Reporting to the RVP, day to day responsibilities will include providing overall planning, direction, evaluation and control to assigned service units to achieve operations and financial goals, participation on a team, HR functions, establishing and maintaining effective customer/client rapport and providing guidance to a team of up to 15 Managers. RELOCATION is available if needed. Key Responsibilities: You will be professionally responsible for Facilities Management regarding the proper installation, operation and maintenance of uninterrupted light, heat, power, water and monitoring systems for all health system buildings and services. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, you will have budget, staffing, short and long range planning, people and program development responsibilities for the Facilities department in addition to construction/renovation operations, facility planning, maintenance, repair programs and energy management. If you can translate and communicate your technical expertise and financial acumen with C-Suite Executives and staff, lets talk! The ideal candidate will have: Strong technical leadership supporting both hard and soft FM for our Senior Living division. Must have strong operational knowledge of both Engineering and some Environmental and be able to source technical expertise as needed for the accounts. Will provide support to the unit General Managers and other District Managers. Be responsible for sourcing new business and cross sale business. Support the sales process for all facilities business. Strong cost modeling knowledge and be able to show value over savings. Will support accounts in several states, so travel will be 80' with overnight stays likely. Ideal candidate will be located in the Northern VA or MD area. * Senior Living experience a plus * Are You the One? Responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors and employees including financial performance, client retention, and employee training and development. Works with each client and the Vice President in all matters relating to contract and account operations in order to establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship that ensures account retention. Develops a business plan and budget for the accounts with the General Manager's.
