Pratt Industries is currently seeking a Division Human Resources Manager based out of West Chester, OH. However, this position will have responsibility over several sites located throughout the United States and travel will be required. To apply, please visit http://pratthrcentral.com/modules/applicanttracking/ and click on \\"Map Search by State/Site.\\" DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Direct all phases of employment including advertising, recruiting, interviewing, testing, placement of personnel, orientation programs, exit interviews, and unemployment compensation hearings. -Administer all employee benefits including insurance. -Process bi-weekly payroll. -Assist plant management with employee relations. -Serve as primary source of contact to managers, employees, arbitrators, and legal counsel on all human resource related matters. -Maintain and update personnel files. -Maintain reports related to employee leave and absentees and manage FMLA process. -Serve as a strategic partner with the Division President and implement initiatives. -Implement recruitment efforts, succession planning, training programs, and employee retention across the division. -Comply with company policies and procedures. -Ensure company is compliant with all laws and regulations. -Additional duties as assigned by management. Candidates must have: -Superior time management skills including the ability to manage multiple issues concurrently and the ability to lead an effective and efficient meeting. -Excellent crisis manager who demonstrates that he/she has a high emotional control under adverse conditions and can lead his/her personnel to a successful resolution. -Excellent employee relations skills including being an active listener, understanding how to appraise personnel, applying both positive and corrective feedback, being able to resolve conflicts either involving the supervisor directly or as a third party, understands and demonstrates positive motivational skills including coaching and delegation techniques. -Demonstrated confidence including providing a consistent leadership style with an acceptable level of professional assertiveness. -Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team. -Excellent oral and written communication skills. -Proficient Microsoft Office skills. -Proficient knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations. -Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in Human Resources. -Four year college degree.
