DESCRIPTION

The Department of Medicine, Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine is seeking an Assistant Professor for a full time faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant Professor in the Adjunct or In Residence series depending on qualifications and interests.

Faculty in the Adjunct and In Residence Professor series are individuals who are predominantly engaged in research or other creative work and who participate in teaching, or individuals who contribute primarily to teaching and have a limited responsibility for research or other creative work; these individuals may be professional practitioners of appropriate distinction. The Adjunct or In Residence Professor will maintain a strong research portfolio and have expertise in epidemiology and modeling of infectious diseases. Appointees with titles in this series also engage in University and public service consistent with their assignments.

Requirements:
* Qualifications required to be hired for the position include an MD and/or PhD, expertise in infectious diseases, epidemiology and disease modeling, and a body of work demonstrating accomplishment in this area.
