The Document Generation Specialist will work as a member of the Processing Team, which manages the outgoing documentation between SolarCity and our customers. Their primary goal is to ensure that the customer receives all the required paperwork in a timely manner. The Document Generation Specialist is responsible for generating and sending the contract (and any associated amendments), utility, HOA and permitting documents to the customer.
All roles require vigilant attention to detail, consistent application of initiative and common sense to solve problems. The successful candidate brings keen organizational skills to every aspect of their professional life, and possesses an ability to deal with large volumes of documents with speed and accuracy while maintaining a great can-do attitude.
It is vital that each member of the Processing team must be able to effectively work independently towards achieving team and individual objectives and metrics including an individual quota.
Prepare, verify and send to the customer all relevant documentation in accordance with specific utility requirements
As needed, analyze job cost and changes to contracts from the initial sale to post design and determine the correct paperwork per the product, utility or other regulating organization
Develop and maintain a strong professional relationship with the Sales and Operations teams
Manage daily functions using SolarCity s customized databases including inputting appropriate notes for all tasks, and progressing project status
Stay up to date on internal and external changes in process
Identify common issues and suggest suitable solutions to resolve in a timely manner
Keep impeccable notes in the customer record and update the job status according to SOP
Additional duties required as needed
6 months of work experience preferred
Bachelor s degree preferred
Must be a self-starter
Ability to produce high quality work with attention to detail
Acute awareness and ability to manage to deadlines and heavy workload
Highly organized and process oriented
Proficient with desktop applications such as Adobe Acrobat Professional, MS Office, and Internet Explorer including an ability to learn new IT systems
Ability to work on multiple tasks as the same time
Professional, customer focused approach to completing assignments and representing company
Calm and positive manner
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to different situations and process changes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent customer service skills required
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance required
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background search
