DONOR RECORDS COORDINATOR (6 MONTH TEMP)
$17/hr

****Requirements****
-Must be available to start immediately
-Bachelor?s degree (BS) from an accredited four-year college or university
-Completion of Surgical Technologist, EMT program, or LVN program with state certification.
-Organized can work in a high pace environment


Essential Job Function (i.e., Maintains Donor Charts)
-Maintains all donor charts in medical records.
-Upload chart documentation to electronic charting system.
-Check for charts completion and routes charts as necessary.
-Accurately retrieve and send requested information on donor or recipient related data to Transplant Centers and other outside agencies.
-Files and maintains data in donor charts in accordance to QA standards.
-Accurately and with-in the UNOS requested time of (72) hours, enters required data on all donors in the UNet System including all refusal codes and PTR?s.
-Forwards all outstanding feedback and CDR forms to the appropriate Donor Information Coordinator and completes any outstanding -PTR forms and refusal codes.
-Assists the donor information staff in daily tasks, as assigned.
-Maintain donor information records in the Digital Donor system for kidney import activity.
-Participate in continuous QA activity.
-Copies of donor/referral chart information and retrieval of charts as requested.
-Verify accuracy of information submitted to UNOS as requested by UNOS.
-Recover information from stored databases to support donor information and physicians research projects.
-Maintain database of ECD (Expanded Criteria Donors) and create spreadsheets for future research papers/articles.
-Reconcile donors with UNOS records at end of year regarding number of donors and organs transplanted.
-Organize and dispatch charts to archiving facility.
-Attend required staff meetings, training programs and/or in-services as deemed necessary by the immediate manager, COO/CIO or CEO.
