Driver (Box Truck) CDL required

� PBMS is currently seeking a Courier Driver who is customer service and career-minded; and, who is able to work in a fast paced production environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving utilizing a company van or Box Truck to deliver mail packages is required.
- Sort, deliver and pick-up mail and packages according to established time frames and service standards between New York City and Connecticut
- Ensure that all mail and packages are properly labeled for mailing, with correct postage utilizing automatic postage meter machines.
- Verify and correct mail using available tools.
- Maintain all logs and reporting documentation as required.
- Loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Maintain shipping and receiving area as required.
- Receive and log all incoming items, letters and packages, including certified, registered, return receipt, Federal Express and DHL.
- Keep manager advised of associate or employee moves or requests, and other related matters. Requirements:
The successful job seeker must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related functional area of (Courier Services) required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
- A CDL drivers license is required
- Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
- Basic PC skills required
- Lifting up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations
- Standing for long periods of time
- Previous experience driving a Box Truck a plus
- A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required
- Flexibility with work schedule
