p strong SUMMARY /strong /p p To provide transportation and other support necessary to enable homeless veterans to secure and maintain gainful employment, thereby increasing their likelihood of long-term economic self-sufficiency and residential stability. /p p   /p p sizcache='9' sizset='13' strong sizcache='9' sizset='13' ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: /strong /p p style='margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='14' 1.       Provides clerical and other support to the HVRP Program through coordinating transportation and other services, accurately completing assigned paperwork and completing assigned clerical duties including answering phones. /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='16' a.        Assists Program Director in organizing, tracking and monitoring all participant information /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='18' b.       Communicates with personnel from other agencies in a courteous and professional manner. /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='19' c.        Represents the interests of the agency, the program and the program participants in all activities. /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='20' d.       Provides support to Volunteers of America’s veteran’s transitional housing program as directed by the Program Director or designee. /p p style='margin-left: 0.25in'   /p p style='margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='21' 2.       Provides transportation to program participants in a safe, timely and courteous manner                                 /p p style='margin-left: 0.25in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='23' a.        Provides transportation to clients for employment opportunities, such as completing job applications, interviews, etc. Also assists in transporting of clients to other needed services such as medical appointments, BMV, social Security, etc. /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='24' b.       Monitors, documents, and ensures client compliance with program rules while being transported and in the community. /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='25' c.        Coordinates regular errands to Administrative Office, suppliers and other agencies to ensure facility needs are met /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='26' d.       Interacts with clients in a positive and respectful manner /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-indent: -0.25in' sizcache='9' sizset='27' e.        Conducts ongoing routine maintenance of agency vans, ensuring they are operating in a clean, safe and efficient condition at all times. /p p style='margin-left: 0.75in; text-inden
