Job Description
Island Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to join our corporate team based in sunny South Florida. In this important role, you will be responsible for the following:
* Strategically and constantly manages the content, appearance and performance of all of
our sites to ensure they are continuing to be efficient and productive revenue channels.
* Works with third-party vendors to ensure that all sites are of the highest quality.
* Monitors the performance of our sites through the use of internet-based tools
* Monitors the hotels web presence with specific focus on both GDS and major TPIs, such
as Expedia, Priceline, Travelocity and Hotels.com.
* Develops e-commerce strategies plansgoals for each hotel and the division as a whole
to ensure total optimization.
* Collaborates with SVP of Sales and Marketing to develop and launch programs and pro-
motions to drive share and expand the companys presence in each local market.
* Responsible for the development of regional, traffic-generating, cluster sites.
* Works closely with the corporate marketing team to create and launch e-mail marketing
programs for company-wide and local promotions.
* Works closely with all members of the corporate team to help create, design, an imple-
ment internal marketing campaigns, including internal branding and other marketing
needs.
* Also provides support for Food & Beverage promotions across the division.
* Works closely with marketing team to developlaunch email marketing programs internally
and externally.
* Tracks and records performance and productivity of all electronic delivery channels.
Job Requirements:
* Ability to collect and analyze data
* Analysis and comprehension of ROI
* Team-oriented management style
* 3 years experience in hotel-related E-Commerce
* Specific experience with e-commerce and web-managementSEO and OTA
* Yield management experience
* Proficient in MS Office software; skills should include creation of spreadsheets with advanced Excel software skills
* Excellent oralwritten communication skills
* Well-developed presentation skills
* Excellent customer relations skills
