EHR Project Director - CSG (any U.S. location)-10201-3557 Primary Location: United States-Tennessee-Nashville Job: Directors amp; Managers Schedule: Full-time Description: -The Clinical Support Model Project Director for the EHR Program is responsible for facilitating the successful completion of all strategic programs and projects related to a fully integrated EHR project at the division level. -This position will provide toolkits and project oversight for all constituencies supporting the implementation of new solutions; strong integration of ITamp;S and IT Field Ops resources and capabilities will be required. -They will be responsible for managing the division level work plan, produces the division status reports, assures status reporting at the local hospital level, acts as the key support to the local core team leader, identifies and manages issues and risks, provides status to division leadership. -The Project Director will focus on the implementation of various projects associated with the Electronic Health Record implementation. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for managing clinical project implementations for all facilities within the assigned division. Will be responsible for managing 6 to 8 implementations simultaneously. * Proactively meet regularly with business owners to document assumptions, prepare and guide them in their roles as executive sponsors, prepare presentations for use in getting the business case approved. * Authorfacilitate fully integrated strategic documents such as Project Charters, Education and Communication plans, detailed project plans, and present project updates to business owners (integration with all departments participating in the delivery of product to end users). * Identify, prepare, andor ensure completion of high quality, professional deliverables as required by each project plan. * Organize project activities into manageable work efforts for team members and determine an effective approach to completing the work, as outlined in project plan. * Coach team members to clarify task assignments, milestones, and deliverables. * Identify and manage risks associated with the implementation of the CSG strategies related to the EHRP and work with executives sponsor to develop action plans for mitigating these risks. * Manage the creation of implementation toolkits for deployment across the enterprise in collaboration with the ITamp;S team. * Monitor and report on project activities and reporting on status within published timelines using project management standards and the appropriate project management tools. * Actively communicate with division, corporate and facility stakeholders to manage the impact of change and communicate project status expectations and timelines. * Other duties as assigned as necessary, to support the EHR Program Office at Corporate and the Clinical Support Model. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ability to manage and organize an entire spectrum of project activities from planning, to detailed solution design to pilot and full roll-out and implementation. * Ability to manage all aspects of the EHRP solutions representing the end user community, ensuring that changes to the clinical and business processes are fully documented to support new technology products, and providing oversight to ITamp;S related activities that support the EHRP. * Demonstrated ability to implement large scale projects successfully - on-time and on-budget. * Solid communication and change management skills to influence and lead other HCA departments, business partners, and facility leadership through this process. * Results-oriented with a demonstrated strong commitment and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. * Demonstrated ability to appropriately communicate and integrate with teams and constituencies across the company (strong written and verbal communication skills and effective relationship building skills). * Demonstrated ability to follow and facilitate do
