BR BR B Job Responsibilities /B Electrician Maintenance, designated journeyman (Tradesman) - performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair actions on a variety of equipment. Job duties include, the trouble shooting and repair of equipment and facility infrastructure to support power requirements. The electrician performs assigned duties without supervision, receives job assignments and priorities from shop supervisor/Production lead. The electrician shall be cable of interpreting drawings, applying electrical principles, reviews and understands schematics. Utilizes common hand and power tools as well as specialized equipment used to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of common and uncommon repair actions. The Electrician may direct non-trades personnel in the performance of assigned duties to assist the Electrician. The Electrician shall be responsible for troubleshooting and fault isolation associated with equipment failures. They shall review technical documentation, drawings and schematics. The Electrician shall prepare spares and replacement parts requests as required. They shall assist the other trades personnel with the repair and troubleshooting of assigned equipment. The Electrician may be required to assess power requirements for newly installed equipment. Shall coordinate power requirements with outside responsible parties. They shall prepare reports and request for additional assets / infrastructure requirements as needed. The Electrician shall assist and direct non-trades personnel in the performance of their assigned duties as requested by the Shop Supervisor / Production Manager. The Electrician shall be required to complete work orders in either electronic or hard copy formats. Assist in the repair and maintenance of Machine Shop floor to include shock absorbing material, repair and replacement. May be required to operate overhead crane during the installation/removal or movement of oversized equipment/materials as directed by shop supervisor. BR BR B Experience/Education /B 1-5 YEARS experience, must possess valid driver's license, security clearance a plus, High School Diploma or GED equivalent required br br Commercial or industrial experience in at least 3 or the following 4 fields: br br o Auto-transfer equipment br o Secondary power equipment (generators) br o Lightning surge suppression equipment br o Primary power equipment br br Applicable vocational training. br Possess a valid state Driver's License. br Ability speak read and write English br High school diploma or equivalent br
