Summary of Duties The Implementation Analyst is actively engaged is end user interaction, workflow analysis, design, build, training and on-site support to implement the HCAPS eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record (EMR) functionality and HCA business process and compliance standards. The Analyst consistently executes the HCA Implementation approach, including risk and issue identification, mitigation and resolution; travels to each site to meet with end users, and acts as a primary contact for system users. Duties Include and Are Not Limited To * EMR Implementation and Support * Works with Division, Practice and Service Center resources to implement clinical workflow and processes to successfully implement the HCA-hosted eCW EMR solution. * Executes implementation tasks for assigned practices following the HCA standard implementation toolkit. Provides control and status of implementation tasks according to project schedule. * Conducts practice-specific clinical workflow analysis and design. * Develops EMR training plan and delivers EMR training to practice staff and physicians, following the specified HCA training standards. * Functions as primary liaison between the practice and support departmentsteams. EMR Operational Standards and Support * Provides regular status reports to key Program Manager and end users. * Drives resolution to end user issues. Works with all parties to prioritize issues and offer solutions. * Trains and supports appropriate use of the application, utilizing expert knowledge of clinical workflow and processes to support patient care in the outpatient setting. * Works with physicians, clinical staff and the support organization to understand and research customization request. * Provides on-site go live support. * Establishes and monitors key success criteria and helps to collect return-on-investment metrics. * Adheres to HCA on-boarding activities, including train-the-trainer, competency assessments, and recertification requirements. * Actively supports and promotes systems standardization, utilization, and best practices. * Participates with peers in enterprise communities to identify and evaluate best practices, implementing, training and promoting best practice efforts. * Promotes system security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance. * Adheres to Code of Conduct and Mission amp; Value Statement. * Participates in special projects as needed. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service * Thorough understanding of physician outpatient clinical workflows * Expert knowledge of eCW EMR functionality * Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects * Proficiency in clinical applications, ambulatory EMR preferred Education * Bachelors degree in computer science, health care or related field required. Experience * Three to five years experience in information systems training, clinical role, implementation andor project management required.
